As our business development manager, you will play a critical role in further developing and executing our go-to-market strategy. You will discover and prioritize new opportunities and bridge the gap between sales and product. You will leverage your experience and existing ties with different stakeholders in the maritime, transportation and logistics industry to ignite substantial commercial traction for Kaiko Systems.

This is a role that provides the opportunity to work with an ambitious and fast-growing team to define, develop, and implement a commercial sales strategy for a new innovative platform for the transportation sector.

What You Need for this Position

 

  • Identifying new business opportunities and validating them in a highly structured manner.
  • Working directly with the CEO to develop customer accounts.
  • Generating customer development insights and sharing relevant information across the company.
  • Developing and strengthening customer relationships across new and existing segments.
  • Creating and executing detailed sales plans for each market area, with the aim of gaining market share.
  • Ensuring sales processes, including quotation/proposal vetting, contract review, and CRM system management are in place and being used effectively.
  • Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the team including identifying and supporting staff training needs.
  • Maintaining a portfolio of customers and consistently meeting personal sales targets.
  • Ensuring customers receive the highest levels of customer service.
